Message from General Secretary's Desk

Dear Comrades,

I am extremely happy to address you through this website of our Association. This new website is an excellent platform for communication. The website has many unique features. We have tried to incorporate almost all information about our Association, benefits available to our Officer’s, service conditions etc. We can improve this further with your valuable suggestions. One of the excellent features of this site is that you can communicate with the leadership through this website. You can give your suggestions, clear your doubts and can address your problems to the Leadership, through this site. We can make this an excellent platform for exchanging our views and ideas. The problems faced by lack of timely communication are many and I hope that we may be able to solve this problem through this site, to a great extent. The effort put in by our young Comrades to develop this site, under the leadership of the DGS, is highly commendable. I congratulate them and expect other young Comrades also, to come forward with such ideas and innovations. The future of the Organisation and the Bank are in your hands. I hope that you will grow up to our expectations and take the Organisation forward.

As you are aware, as a responsible Organisation, we have many responsibilities to shoulder. The Reforms in Financial sector are being implemented in a fast pace. The Government is intent upon privatising the banking sector through Disinvestment and by bringing in more FDI. We, the Officer’s and employees, are being attacked from all sides. The very existence of Trade Unions is being now questioned through various bills and acts in the Parliament, like the recent amendments in the Labour Laws. Comrades, this is the right time to rise and fight back. For this, a strong Organisation is required. To build up a strong Organisation, a strong and militant cadre ship is required. I call upon each one of you to rise to the occasion and build a strong Organisation, as our very existence is being questioned. I hope that initiatives like this will help us to communicate more and help us to take forward our Organisation.

Long Live SBIOA.

With Revolutionary Greetings.
Comradely Yours,
Rajesh S
